On Our Minds
A message to the On-Ramps community,
Lately, it feels like our society and economy have ground to a halt. Those of us who are fortunate enough to be safe and healthy at home are still…at home. And while so many of us struggle with our health and well-being, an even greater number of people are struggling financially. According to the US Department of Labor, over 40 million Americans have filed initial unemployment claims since mid-March.
Knowing that so many in our community are looking for work, we are eager to do what we can to help. That’s why we’re sharing the Community Hiring Collective, a list of open jobs at great mission-driven organizations. This list is different from our usual On-Ramps Monthly Jobs Digest. The Community Hiring Collective is a set of open roles at great organizations that On-Ramps is not involved in filling. It also includes application links to apply to the jobs directly.
You can find issues of the Community Hiring Collective linked below. We will add the most current issue on our site each time it is released.
Today, mission-driven work is more vital than ever, particularly for organizations that serve our most vulnerable communities. Thank you for your support in circulating these important roles.
