Upon graduating undergrad, Deonté moved back to Newark, NJ, where he was born and raised, following a passion for mission-driven work and a deep love for his city. Outside of the office, Deonté is a singer/songwriter and music blogger and will often be found in the studio creating music, consuming the broad context of music from music’s past to music’s present, or singing at his home church. "Where there's music, there he'll be also."
