Michael brings with him years of experience in both the non-profit and public sectors. He currently works as a County Planner in a Richmond, Virginia-area Planning Department, where he conducts research, prepares various reports, and works on special projects.
Prior to moving to Richmond, Michael worked with GrowNYC, where he managed the Wholesale Greenmarket in Hunts Point, Bronx, and served as daily market manager for a number of neighborhood Greenmarkets throughout the city. While in school, he worked at the New York City Department of City Planning where he conducted research and assisted in the City’s preparation for the 2010 U.S. Census.
Michael graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.S. in Urban Studies and earned his Master’s in Urban Planning from Hunter College in New York City. When not working, you can find him exploring Richmond by bike with his wife and daughter or planning their next trip.
